Photoshop Graphics
Tonight I was asked by a friend that I have talked to for awhile to design a interface for his upcoming web application, So knowing that this guy has helped me when I needed it and that I had made a deal with him to program some stuff for me that I would indeed do it. I got a pretty good start on the interface and its coming along pretty good. It's a good thing I have been using Photoshop for 8 years but it gets annoying sometimes when people ask me for graphics all the time. I guess that means im doing a pretty good job at designing them.

Personality Test
So I had to take a personality test for extra credit in my c# class these were my results:
ISFP - Introversion, Sensing, Feeling, Perception
According to Myers-Briggs, ISFPs are peaceful, easygoing people who adopt a "live and let live" approach to life. They enjoy taking things at their own pace and tend to live in the moment. Although quiet, they are pleasant, considerate, and caring, devoted to the people in their lives. Though not inclined to debate or necessarily even air their views, their values are important to them
Possible Career Paths for the ISFP:
Artist
Musician / Composer
Designer
Child Care / Early Childhood Development
Social Worker / Counselor
Teacher
Psychologist
Veterinarian
Forest Ranger
Pediatrician

Neural Network Real World Applications
Digital Camera Face Recognition
Most digital cameras these days have a face recognition, object recognition which is a part of Neural Network technology. This part of Neural Network technology is refered to as pattern recognition. Pattern recognition is "the act of taking in raw data and taking an action based on the category of the pattern".
Data Mining
Data mining is a form of Neural Network technology as well. The most familiar aspect of data mining to most people would be e-mail spam filtering. Most of the time the way e-mail filtering works is it filters based on the content of the e-mail.

The 5 Most Innovative New Online Business Models in 2010
1.Woot - This online retailer takes the unique approach of only selling a single product each day
2.Groupon - How much would you lower your standard prices if I could guarantee you 100 customers? Or how about 1,000? The premise behind Groupon is to offer customers "collective buying power."
3.Hotwire - By now most people are familiar with the new auction based pricing model that Priceline introduced into the travel industry"
4.Blippy - If you don't live your life in social media, the idea behind Blippy will likely confuse you. It is a social site that lets people automatically share the latest things they have purchased (and how much they paid for them) by linking the site to a single credit card.
5.Dubli- This site offers some of the most creative pricing models you can find online - and models that have not yet been duplicated across many others sites.

Dell to introduce a Tablet
Dell’s first effort at a tablet will be the Mini 5 (a name that is still in beta) — a slice of plastic and glass with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen that according to Michael Dell will debut “in a couple of months.”
The Mini 5 will sport a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a separate front-facing camera that can be used for video conferencing, a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1-GHz processor. The 5-inch screen also means it will be be closer to the Sony PSP in its form factor than the longer legal notepad design of the iPad.
The Mini 5 will run the latest version of Google’s Android operating system, version 2.0 or higher. And instead of the 4:3 aspect ratio of the iPad, Dell’s tablets will support the 16:9 ratio. This will let it play widescreen films.

Ever wonder how twitter is going to make money?
According to MediaPost, Anamitra Banerji, head of product management and monetization at Twitter, has confirmed that the service is working on an advertising platform. This is following a panel on interactive advertising hosted by Seth Goldstein, CEO of socialmedia.com, where Banerji reportedly unveiled Twitter's plans in a relatively vague fashion. According to Goldstein and MediaPost, the plan is to let brands and companies interact with consumers and capitalize on trending topics, as well as ensure that the delivered content is "relevant and useful." Banji also indicated that initially the ads would feature hash tags to distinguish them from tweets, but that the developers were working on a better solution.

Twitter and Yahoo Teamup
The partnership will let people access their Twitter feeds on Yahoo! properties including their home pages, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Sports and others making it easier to tweet or check on the people they follow. Also on the Yahoo! search engine you can view live updates from twitter. This teamup is kind of like its ties with Google and Bing.
Ever wondered about google doodle logos?
The search-engine giant has a team of doodlers who brighten Google's plain home page with colorful illustrations all of them variations on the word "Google" for holidays and special events such as the Vancouver Winter Olympics. There's no set number on how many doodles Google does in a year, although the creations are appearing on its site more often. However, there is one rule for how a doodle should look: It must incorporate some form of the word "Google." Click here to view past google dooles
iPhone VOIP Application
Toktumi has built a back end similar to that of Google Voice, but unlike Google, it’s gotten Apple’s blessing. It’s one of the more complete mobile VoIP apps currently available for download; I especially like the fact that it allows you to receive calls straight to your mobile phone over a cellular network even if you don’t have 3G or Wi-Fi coverage. It comes with its own features such as call waiting, conference calling, call transfer and even voice mails — in other words, the service is like a virtual second line on your phone. The service costs $14.95 a month for unlimited calls in the U.S. and Canada.

YouTube to remove support for IE 6
Come March 13, 2010, YouTube will no longer officially support Internet Explorer 6.
Ars Technica found the specific date buried in a YouTube Help item pertaining to browser support. Under the section header, “When does older browser support end for YouTube (YouTube) and what does this mean?,” it reads:
The support entry also details that Google’s YouTube will notify site visitors of the change in browser support by displaying an interstitial every two weeks indefinitely until the user upgrades that will serve as a very blatant visual reminder and encourage IE6 browsers to upgrade accordingly.

Google plunged into the world of social networking melding pieces of Facebook and Twitter into a new feature, Google Buzz.
Buzz, which will work through the popular Gmail service, will allow users to post status updates, photos and links to members of their network -- as well as pull in their activity on other sites like Twitter, Flickr and Picasa.

Phasing out IE 6.0
Internet explorer 6.0 support will be phased out by Google. Hopefully other big web publishers will follow suit. This is a huge victory for web designers/developers across the interwebs:
“Dear Google Apps admin,
In order to continue to improve our products and deliver more sophisticated features and performance, we are harnessing some of the latest improvements in web browser technology. This includes faster JavaScript processing and new standards like HTML5. As a result, over the course of 2010, we will be phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as well as other older browsers that are not supported by their own manufacturers.
We plan to begin phasing out support of these older browsers on the Google Docs suite and the Google Sites editor on March 1, 2010. After that point, certain functionality within these applications may have higher latency and may not work correctly in these older browsers. Later in 2010, we will start to phase out support for these browsers for Google Mail and Google Calendar.
Google Apps will continue to support Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Firefox 3.0 and above, Google Chrome 4.0 and above, and Safari 3.0 and above.

Google to Rival the iPad
Not even a week after Apple’s recent (and possibly infamous) iPad release, some interesting pictures have started crawling out from a virtual corner of the internet by Google, which has the internet starting to talk. The brilliant minds at Google have been cooking up some images showcasing the Chronium OS tablet proof-of-concept, which were posted on the Google-owned Chronium.org website in the last week or so. Nothing major has been announced yet, but a few of the early features listed on the websites include a tabs-only interface with the tabs along the side(s) of the screen, a full screen Touch UI, and an on-screen software keyboard that boasts multiple setups depending on the need, including the ability to be split between the left- and right-hands (along with the familiar single keypad).

Network Effect
The best example of network effect is the telephone. The more people that own a telephone the more valuable the phone becomes to them to network with others. Also websites such as facebook or twitter the more users that sign up and interact on twitter or facebook. These are good examples of network effect.

Wisdom of crowd as i interpret it is just a group of individuals giving there input on a particular subject matter and taking all that input into account develops Wisdom of Crowd.

It seems that knowledge is an essential to life you use knowledge anywhere and everywhere. The ability to produce and use knowledge has become a big part of development in many organizations.
